Nature Shop tested: KEEN Uneek

On a recent trip to Dubrovnik, Croatia, Josie tried out the KEEN Uneek sandals in the colour Anemone/Bright Rose

REVIEW

After researching Dubrovnik I knew that I would need a pair of travelling sandals that would be breathable and comfortable all day for a mix of activities while being lightweight and flexible enough to fit in my hand luggage.

The KEEN Uneek o2 sandals were exactly that; the interlocking cords and lightweight sole meant that the sandals fitted neatly into my suitcase taking up hardly any space at all, and the sandals were extremely comfortable throughout the holiday.

I wore them for a wide range of activities from hiking up to Fort Royal, rock climbing and swimming off the island of Lokrum, walking around the Old Town, off road buggy driving at the top of Mount Srd and for a 3 hour kayaking tour.

The unique cord design meant that my feet were kept cool and comfortable and also made the sandals extremely quick drying when wet. The shores of Lokrum island were really rocky so it was good to have a pair of sandals that I could wear into the water too to protect my feet.

The sole of the sandals is also great for slippery rocks, the sometimes dangerously smooth pavement of the Old Town and for hiking the steep 92m up to Fort Royal.

I loved the bright pink colour of my sandals as it was feminine, summery and looked great with both shorts and summer dresses.
