International Touring Cyclists

We are very pleased to have Julie & Lyn Manning on board as Nature Shop Ambassadors!

Julie and Lyn are International Touring Cyclists from New Zealand and have cycled in many parts of the world including yearly cycling trips to various parts of Europe.

This year they are cycling from Andermatt (Switzerland) to Rotterdam (Netherlands) on the Eurovelo 15  which is 1233kms in length, it will take them through 4 countries and 9 World Heritage Sites.  They will cycle to Calais (France) and take the ferry over to Dover to continue down to Brighton.

Their other trips have included:

In the summer of 2016 they cycled approximately 1,000 km around Brittany, France.

The year before in 2015, they cycled from St Malo (Brittany) to Spain down the west coast of France.

Previous years Julie and Lyn have cycled from Munich down the Isar river to Deggendorf and then down the Danube to Budapest.

An earlier trip was from Hamburg up the Elbe River, then they turned off to Berlin and went down the Cottbus River and then across country back to the Elbe River and onto Prague.

Previous walking trips have included the Camino de Santiago (St Jean Pied a Port - France) to Santiago in Spain.   The following year they walked the GR65 across the Central Massif in France from Le Puy en Velay to where they started the Spanish Camino.

I think you will agree with us when saying what an inspiration Julie and Lyn are to be cycling and walking such long distances and to such amazing places! Be sure to keep an eye on our blog for weekly updates about their current trip on the EuroVelo 15.
